In particular I asking about the Nolin River spawning run.
Stopped by Nolin River on 2/19, didn't fish long, caught a few small white bass.
Talked to one fishermen, who had one walleye, 18"er, who said him and a buddy caught four the day before.
River is low and clear. Need a good warm rain.
Caught a sauger down from Burkesville last weekend, lost several more. Heard the 'Eyes are up at the dam.
Stopped by the headwaters of Nolin Friday, Sat & Sunday. Caught 4 white bass Friday in about 1 hour and 1 fella had caught a couple of walleye. Spoke with the game warden and he said a few walleye were being caught at Broad Ford which is where I was that day. Saturday a friend and I fished the Bacon Creek section and he picked up 4 crappie and 1 white and I caught 9 whites, 6 of those in my 1st 9 casts and 1 largemouth. Sunday I got skunked but I did see a few whites being caught. All of the whites except for 2 were males. They're just getting started.
