Any point in braving this rain this afternoon and sitting in the thick stuff
I always figured it would be hard to blood trail a deer when the rain is washing the blood away, that's why I won't bow hunt while it's raining
If i could id be there in a millisecond. Evenings like tonight are a special thing to a deer hunter. Thats just my oppinion but ill take a evening like this over a sunny bluebird day any day.
I don't like a hard rain but a drizzle to sprinkle with little to no wind is awesome. My issue is that I don't like blinds so I'm literally sitting out in it. If it gets hard enough while I'm out, I'll slip down and crawl in one if I have to.
I never have bow hunted in the rain because of the possibility of losing an animal to a washed away blood trail.
Yep. They're on their feet. Already seen 9 this evening.
Good luck to you. I wish i was in a tree. weekends calling for 85 degrees you boys enjoy this while you can
It's a killer evening I am in the blind feels real good out tonight hope a shooter comes by good luck to the ones out this evening.
Good luck. I feel like a few big ones may fall this evening.
What you guys see this evening
I couldn't agree more!
Went this morning for a bit, no luck, saw momma and fawn on way back to truck on the four wheeler.
Ended up going saw a couple doe. Couldn't make it out this morning hoping to try again this afternoon
Like a slow drizzle - covers a lot of noise
