Brisket shot with muzzle loader.

    • That's known as the 2 incher. 2 inches higher he's dead, 2 inches right he's dead, 2 inches lower he's dead. More than likely after rutting and losing all the body weight that they do the stress of it will get him but who knows, I've seen deer live through traumatic things in the past that I didn't think they would. Including one who's front leg was completely missing after getting hit by a car. Saw that doe for several years after that.

    Watched that before but it is interesting stuff. That scapula is my 7mag target, it is the " dead on impact" zone !

    Just had a 3pt with a real bad limp walk by. Someone shot him head on and the bullet went in the brisket and essentially through his armpit and exited behind the shoulder. I have no buck tag to use but he seemed pretty healthy despite a bad limp.
