I demo'd a small deck for a guy. It was relatively new, he wanted a concrete porch instead. So I've got this treated wood and thinking to myself "Self, this is too good to go in Rumpke's landfill. What can I make outta this"?

I have a spot where I set a pop up blind overlooking a crick crossing. After using it a time or two, the inside can be a muddy mess. So I took some of the lumber and made a platform for my popup blind. 6 X 6, I figure I can use a few deck screws with washers instead of pins to hold the blind in place... deer deck2.jpg deer deck1.jpg

Great idea. Throw some old carpet on there and it'll be nice and quiet too.
