Yesterday afternoon, we walked by a hollow log that I pushed up with my tractor a couple of years ago. I instantly heard noises when I walked by the opening. Shined a flashlight up inside and found these little rascals and their mother. Ended up being 4 young.

I have the opinion that everything needs to eat. I have trapped etc back in the day but see no reason to kill baby coons or even coyotes when they have young. No problem thinning the herd at times but I can't wait till they are at least close to being gown where they can't think and act on their own behalf....

Found a hollow stump full of baby coyotes a few years ago in turkey season. 11 of them the best I could count. I knew I should have killed them all, just couldn't talk myself into it

I recently found a mouse nest in my house and killed everyone of them. I understand the ethical dilemma, but for the life of me old or young I don't want or need em there.

I can understand mice. But most critters are not making a home in your dwelling.
