What hunting tool or accessory do you now have that you can't imagine not having, nor why you ever did without it?

Icebreaker Boot Blankets are awesome for winter treestand hunting. Put them on before your feet get cold and they'll be warm for the rest of the hunt. They're bulky, but well worth packing to your tree.

You're probably gonna get therma cell as a popular response but I've never used one. I never had one until 2011 but I can't imagine hunting where I hunt especially with my 74 year old father without a 4 wheeler.

Heated insoles. I've bought every pair of boots and socks ever imagined and none of it mattered.

My ATV is one I wouldn't do without.... I never even rode one until 2011 when I bought mine. I don't know why nor how I did without it. It has made hunting chores so much easier.

Im about as far from a gadget man as you could find. Old school minimalist. That being said a thermacell is the best thing since sliced bread for early bow season and Spring turkey hunting.

Make my own bows, strings, quivers, cane arrows, knifes, even a few broadheads. But I sure love the head or hat mounted flashlights that leave both hands free.

I've owned a Thermacell for a few years and have yet to use it. Maybe one of these days.

Made it several years without one but got my first in 92. Kept that one for 18 years and bought another ( bigger) in 2010. Which I have to say I like a 4-wheeler vs utv. Just easier to maneuver around in timber.

During season it stays on the trailer as I don't ride it to stands and such. Only comes off if someone has a deer down. But outside of that ...putting stands up, riding property lines, checking cams, general maintenance around the farm .... one of the most helpful tools I have.

I too hope I don't find myself without one.
