Not liking the 15 day forecast. A week ago I thought I might find a couple of early ones but now I think it is more likely to be after 3/18. Checked a couple of early spots this past week and found nothing.

Yea i found a tick on me the other day too after looking. I hate to say it but we need another cold snap or two to deal with these bugs. As much as im rdy for spring i dont want to get packed away by bugs this year...

I've seen some spring wildflowers like trillium emerging. Kind of early for them.

I've seen a lot of different trees budding, wild onions growing like crazy, birds building nest, wild rose bushes are starting to leave out. I did go check a few spots but nothing. It seems I never find any here regardless of the weather until apple trees are starting to bloom

I was taught to always wait till poplar leaves are the size of a squirrel's ear. And I see no color yet.

Skiff of snow here this morning... one could only hope it would kill off some of little Sob's but after seeing wasp unthaw and take off in minutes, I have my doubts. Time to reload on permithrin and thermacell fellers

I can't wait! I can't remember if I posted this before, but I took a three-minute video of my boys helping me find a few mushrooms last spring. Some of my best memories as a kid are of finding mushrooms.

How long now with this mess we got on the ground? Have 4-5 inches here in Eubank where I live.
