Anybody bass fish lake Cumberland? I've only been there once a couple weeks ago and didn't have much luck. Headed down there Saturday to give it a try again. Any pointers would be helpful! Thanks for any info

    What part of Lake Cumberland?
Yes, I've heard people having success lately with Alabama rigs and also with live shiners.

Putting in at conoley bottom. I don't know much about the lake at all to be honest.

Understand, I like that area. I haven't gotten to fish much the last few weeks but have friends that have been able to and have done ok. Beaver creek (beyond Conley bottom) is where they've had the most success and that's been with Alabama rigs. Hope you catch em.

You're welcome. Pretty far by boat, I believe it's about 30-35 water miles. Driving distance on the road, beaver creek is about 18 miles west of Conley bottom.

focus on the last steep bank going in creeks or pockets, from there hit the secondary points coming out of larger creeks and any where a bluff wall transitions into flatter areas. Suspending jerkbait, swim bait and jigs should get you some bites. Parralel the walls with a crankbait if you like that. A-Rigs too much work for this old guy.

Any update? Heading down to Cumberland this weekend and not very familiar with the lake. Looking to catch some browns or largemouth - whatever is biting best. Just wondering how the lake has changed in the last couple of weeks. Any help is greatly appreciated!
