Barkley is quite a drive for us but when you begin to make the trip, I don't know if there is a better feeling. We left home around 8:30 and arrived at the ramp by 10. We trolled a bit and seen quite a few fish but they were just a tad too deep. You could see their tail fins but judging the depth was difficult. So we moved on down and got into a couple groups of big heads. Around lunch it turned on and stayed hot until we left. Big head began to surface feed, their big mouths wide open that you can see for 50 yards away. And the silvers came up better too. We ended up with 24 and had that many more pull off. I'm not a fan of the arrow point we were using and would much rather switch back to muzzy, if I hadn't already paid for these. All in all, it was an excellent day of shooting. Was back home by 5. We could've shot longer but those big fish just wore us out. Silvers seemed to be much bigger this year as well.
