    Not sure on date pretty sure within the first week of season. I think maybe opening weekend. I wouldn’t take that to the bank though

    Heck of a buck. I was fortunate enough to see him and put my hands on him shortly after he killed it. Crazy story too. Killed him in an open bean field sitting in a fence line on the ground, no blind. They had seen him multiple times just stand up out of the beans in the evening to feed. Him and his dad slipped in the second day of the season and got within 50 yards of where he was bedded and caught him coming through a gap in the fence line.

    Glad to here he is legit. That young man may spend the rest of his life trying to top that deer.
