    Found five months today, been a week since I've been to this spot and they looked like theyd been there a few days.

    Ha ha thanks for clearing that up. Thought maybe was hitting the ole morel flask a bit to much.

    Seems to be coming to an end in Jefferson county. Picked
    5 big yellows and 2 of the smaller type of yellows in spots
    I have picked in the past 2 weeks. Didn't find any new ones even with really good rains. Ground temps are starting to
    push past the range needed for them to pop.

    Picked 10 little yellows today before I missed a 40 yard shot at a gobbler. I yelped on my box call after cutting the last 2 and he gobbled less than 100 yards away. By the time I got set up against a tree he was in sight and a hen is
    with him. Then out in front of me comes a 6 ft long black snake slithering straight toward me and stops 2 ft in front of me. The hen sees me attempting to convince the snake to leave and starts putting and walks off. I yelp again, he gobbled and then sticks his head up. Decided I better take the shot. Guess I was just a little rattled!

    Ending to today's turkey/shroom hunt. Killed a big gobbler 1 hour after the snake attack missed gobbler shot!

    Picked 24 greys/yellows yesterday in Elliott co.

    Found 49 last Sunday . 1 huge yellow all in creek bottoms . Found 18 today on hillsides. Also found 2 big grays in cedar thicket. The grays are usually the last ones up on our place . Me and my boy had close calls on gobblers also but no shots just out of range all of em.

    Found 8 more small yellows and 2 older blacks today while turkey hunting.

    Found these this weekend in Menifee County, saw 2 fresh ones today in a spot but didn't go in to hunt. I didn't count them but I would guess them at about 125.

    Found 30 yellows today on a hilltop above a creek while turkey hunting. Before someone counts them, four were beyond taking home, left them for seed. Resized_20170418_094315.jpeg

    Just a warning for shroom' hunters not turkey hunting....wear hi-viz clothing. There are some ppl(idiots) they take those "sound" shots. heard about one in pike county today.

    Found 20 yellows & whites yesterday. Also near the top of the ridge.

    Found 9 big yellows ! Biggest morels I've ever found . Bottom ground near cedars.
