    " Between the Rivers "
This story sorta reminds me of one of my favorite movies ...The Ghost & the Darkness with Val Kilmer & Michael Douglas.

Which if you have’nt seen it or don’t remember it....its about a two lions that hunted & killed workers on a British bridge project in Africa.

The movie was loosely based on a true story.... and the lions are on display in the Chicago Field Museum of Natural History. According to some accounts the lions killed around 135 people in a span of 9 months.

Guess I’d be a tad leery of blundering around the game preserve in this circumstance with the poachers...as I’d be concerned the lions got a taste of humans. I would say as in most cases of grizzlies ... they would have a hard time not attacking a person again.

The Ghost & the Darkness IMHO one of the best adventure movies of all time.

Like the movie too. I saw these but I have never been to Chicago. I was a kid and I could swear St. Louis or somewhere thereabouts. Must have been a traveling exhibit or something. It was a good while before the movie ever came out. Could have even been replicas?
