FB_IMG_1512672765989.jpg Anybody else hearing anything about this? Most stories like this seem to denounce themselves but, this one appears to have legs. Supposedly, shot from the road, out of a truck, then tagged by another hunter. Saying KDFW is on the case. Saying gross is 201"

I don't doubt the score. If the buck was poached, I hope that they get the lowlife!

That appears to be more than 201" inches to me. What a shame some POS poached him if the story is true. If so I hope they catch him.

Story your posting is not right. Not taken in that county for starters. He lives in that county but it was taken in Hancock county close to county line. Not poached either from what I've heard just people spreading misinformed info. Nice story from what I was told about how he got it. I even heard people say it was confiscated which it wasn't its at a taxi shop. Amazing how so many different stories get started. Congrats to the hunter on a true trophy.

I hope your version of the story is the truth. Would hate to see such a beautiful deer be taken illegally.

It grosses well over 201 inches. He'd be near that with two typical sides.

If it's wasn't poached and some jackass is just stirring the pot trying to get trouble started, well you see what's wrong with deer hunting now days.
If it was poached it's a shame to see a deer like that killed illegally.

Thinking the same thing....the left side alone is 80"+ IMO. His right side is well over 80"...there's a lot of bone on that right side. Hopefully the story Littlebear is posting is the true version...been on the end of the BS jealousy stories before. That's a hard pill to swallow....

Why would you post a deer with the thread title Poached if you were not 100%. There is no need to spread doubt about a kill. In my opinion to many people post pictures of deer they didn't kill.

If its not your deer then don't post the picture. With the way ground is being leased these days many people don't want their deer on public sites or even the county it was killed in made public.

I would love to hear the true story.

  15. Not posting pics of big bucks,is not going to bring lease prices down.It is not going to free up land either.Hunting magazines, videos,Stan Potts, have already marked KY as a big Buck state for quite a while now.
