Here' a pic..buddy of mine saw the rack at taxidermy shop.
Wow! Just Wow!
Dang near perfect symmetrical...big 8 for sure.
I can’t type what I said.
I need to see the woman that shot it. You know, pics or it didn’t happen kind of thing.
I heard different on this deer. Hear it wasn’t killed in Edmonson county and an Amish guy killed it. My buddy said he held it and it’s at his taxis shop but I don’t no he said huge isn’t the word for it.
My buddy had it on cam all summer, he hunted it hard. But that’s hunting
I don't know details on the kill for sure...only that a friend of mine did see the rack at Martin Merediths taxidermy shop over around Mammoth cave.
I'm not saying that your buddy wasn't hunting it or that he didn't have it on camera,...but I am telling you that the buck in the pic isn't it. As I said on another thread it's 100% not same deer,...and I mean not even close.
^^Tell your buddy to keep hunting, I don't think it is either!!
agree. that's not the same buck. while that's a fine buck, it's 20+" short of the one killed.
Definitely not the same deer. Look at the spread between the tips of the main beams.
I just took he word for it. And the brows looked alike . But after really looking you all are right. Not same deer.
if your buddy gave up for the year, id be asking if you could use his stand.
About 5 years ago I saw a guy and his GF pull in to forks country store and archery store in Edmondson county opening morning..( I lived 10 minutes from there)..they had a huge buck in the truck .. They started talking about how bad ass their farm is because it sits right on the edge of mammoth cave national park..then a month later I see the same couple posing with a 170 class deer from a deer preserve in Ohio..guess what?...it was the same deer... Lmfao..a lot of these monsters are taken on a deer preserve and hauled back to ky..seen way too many do that back in the late 90's
