Just picked up a T/C Compass in 6.5 Creedmore from KY Gun Co. It came with a 4x12x40 vortex diamondback. Seems like a really good package deal and I'm excited about the round. Anyone have experience with these rifles?

  2. No experience with compass. It is a T/C has to shoot great.Let us now how it shoots.

Just saw on TC website there's a safety recall for the compass rifle, better check that out!

Looks like the recall was from sept 2016. New models are corrected from what I’m seeing. Thanks for the heads up

You for sure put a nice scope on it,cant go wrong with vortex, they are good optics for sure.and i have heard nothing but good things on the creedmore rounds.dont no much about the t/c compass though.

I bought one last spring and put my own glass on it. On the plus side, cheap and shoots great straight out of the box. Seems to do well with any ammo I throw in it. On the negative, I dont like how sloppy the bolt is, and the trigger is squishy. I am planning to sell mine and instead get a Tikka in 6.5 CM

I have one in 300wm. Shoots as good as I can. Recoil is less than I expected as light as it is

What are looking for? I have the same rifle in my blind right now. With 143 eldx bullets it will shoot almost with my cooper at 200 yards. It is a cheap gun: cheap stock, heavy trigger, sloppy action. Very very very good shooter. I have a yhm suppressor on mine and I love it. I have -$300 scoped in this rifle and it shoots with a $2600 rifle. Not saying it is as good as the cooper, but very accurate and a solid hunting rifle.

Had a chance to shoot the compass. Like many have said the trigger is heavy and the bolt isn’t the best. But the gun shoots very good and for the money is hard to beat. Going to make a great coyote gun.

Not sure about the Compass but I have two Tc Ventures and they shoot as well as any gun I’ve ever had, cheap or expensive!
