Deer drives can be big time fun if everyone is on board with safety. It can get pretty wild. We use to do them all the time ten yr ago or so. Lots of deer hit the dirt. Pretty cool stuff! Great buck

I don't care one way or the other about the drive,..but I will say that if that buck right there was borderline for you then you are much pickier than me on my most confident/patient day. It's INSTANT shooter as soon as I lay eyes on him...great buck man.

Where in the world did you come up with that? I've never seen the first thing in the Kentucky hunting guide about that or anywhere else, but I've been wrong before way back in 1988 or so. Congrats on the buck OP he's a dandy.

Awesome buck, congrats! I definitely don't want to spark up too much on the drive debate, but just give a quick side note. Private property, run it how you like. I would kill that deer in a heartbeat on private land any way I could as long as it's legal. I have however stopped hunting Ohio gun season due to methods used on public land. My cousin was nearly shot because he was hunting a stationary setup and several dopes were walking the area whooping and yelling and opening fire when they saw a good buck on the path above his setup. Slug literally landed 6 feet from his position. I do believe driving is a legit method when you have a good understanding of the layout and people you have in the area. I don't think it should be allowed on public land. Just my opinion.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought I was pretty picky, but that buck there is a no brainer shooter in my book. The mass alone is awesome. Congrats on a buck to be proud of!!
