My wife killed her first deer today. Skittish old doe. She was patient and finally got a good shot. Never seen a deer bleed that much. Piled up in 40 yards.
Walked up on this doe on my way to the stand this evening. Literally walked within 15 yards of her completely by accident. Had her head down munching on clover. Gave me enough time to knock an arrow and take advantage of the situation. I’ve had enough hard earned deer. I’ll take this gift every time.
My son Dylan’s buck. He got him with a crossbow 9/29/22. He’d passed no less than 9 different bucks on the little honey hole close to the house because this double mainbeam buck was the one he wanted. He was excited to use his chair to drag him out to say the least.
