I know there is a couple of us on here that are Bee keepers. Post some pics. Ask some questions. Hive on top was overflowing with bees. Bottom pic is kinda brood pattern you want to see. Lot of activity on my swarm traps in the yard today.

Surprised you’re seeing wax moths already. I’ve never had any problems with them. I have had them ruin some frames settling out though.
I had four hives that I lost to the moths. From what I am hearing around here that is a big problem with keeping bees.
I am going to try the bug zapper light when I find one and see if that helps. All of my hives have been healthy with lots of bees and when you have lots of bees they are supposed to take care of any wax moth problems.

Yeah a strong hive should keep them in check. I’ve lost a week hive to small hive beetles. IMO they are more of a problem than wax moths.

I had a hive abscond last year while on vacation in August and wax moths moved in that week and destroyed all their comb they had in there. Pissed me off. I'm still fairly new and drawn comb is gold, losing that double deep comb hurt. Anyhow I did a cutout of a hive in an old farmhouse in Ewing this week. Good size hive. Moved them into my Horizontal hive. They've been pretty hot since I installed em, Nock says they'll calm down, I hope it's soon.
I have one hive that had a bunch of hive beetles in there. Killed a bunch and put some traps in too. I installed a package last week and have 2 nucs coming. Gonna split the cutout hive into three since it was riddled with queen cells. That'll put me at 8 hives. Learn every time I'm in them. Pic of the cutout hive, that's only 2/3 of it.

Might be able to get one delivered before you can find one in a store.
