Since they quit selling 5.56 I haven’t seen 7.62x39 or 7.62x54r in our Walmarts. Actually I haven’t seen 7.62x51 either, only the .308 version.

Our Rural King keeps 300 BO in stock. Never bought any but they have plenty.

Kygunco in Louisville has both federal and Remington 30-30 for $33 a box as of today. Just left. Primers are now $89 a brick for small rifle and shotgun.

Every Walmart I’ve been in has consistently had 7.62x51, 350 Legend and 450 BM. Don’t know that I’ve seen one without at least one of those. And now they all seem to have multiple flavors of .308 and .270

Im ok, but i have a buddy that 30/30 is his only deer hunting gun, and ammo for it is just non existant. Explain that one.

Still light on .30-30.

Picked up 3 boxes of .30-30 Leverevolution at Bass Pro this morning for $35 a box. 3 boxes is a lifetime supply for me, so I'll let one box go if someone needs it.

I’m seeing it at a lot of Walmarts. Heck I even bought a box, and I have only shot my reloads for the last 20 years. I’ve been stocking up on 12 and 20 gauge while it is fairly cheap. Hey 2 years ago no one could find any. Not like it will go bad.

.30-30 shells are about as rare as .410-3" shells. Real mystery why this is.

Walmart had several different calibers of rifle today. Had 243, 30-30, 30-06, and a few others. Anywhere between $39 and $46 a box so I passed on those but picked up a few more 12 gauge 4 shot

Managed to hook my friend up with some , and actually find it pretty regular now, but wind up paying about $30 a box. I advise anyone to buy it now, im betting it will be unicorns again by hunting season.
