A "Good" Bear

My friend in Oklahoma killed a nice Bear yesterday.



He is hunting in New Mexico and also got a large bull Elk...a 7 X 7 but I don't have a good photo of it...was after dark when they loaded it. He is an Outfitter and One of his clients shot another Bull Elk this morning and they were waiting for a few minutes to let the air go out of him.

The Elk Photo. Still don't know the Yardage, but I assume it was shot with a 7 SAUM.

I would love to elk hunt. I quit entering the elk draw. I can afford the draw money but not the outfitter fees and other charges that go with it.
So I will just have to stick with killing whitetails for now.
Good elk JR maybe he will take you elk hunting.

I'm saving my "Pass" for my Army son when he gets back from Romania.
Not sure what they get from their Clients, but I think it was $8K. Does that sound close to market?
