Really? You seem like a reasonable guy … you really don’t see more and more severe weather … hot & cold … flood and drought …. Tornadoes and Hurricanes. Sure, we’ve always had these, but they’re worse now (on average) and more frequent.

KY got pounded over the last year from west to east with extreme weather events. The west has been crazy over the last few years … fire, rain, snow (either excessive or where it rarely is).

It really is happening right in front of our own eyes, and the most likely scenario is that 7 billion people burning millions of years of fossil fuels in 150 years probably has had a significant effect.
Yeah weather is somehow magically worse now than ever (despite not having actual data to support such a notion) and we should surrender to your communist muppet masters. Great plan dummy

Hahahaha. Your anecdotal and completely unfounded observation is somehow science? Good Lord you muppets are dumb

You have a great point…. Only none if it’s true. The only thing in front of your eyes is wool that’s being pulled over them.

Ok, so let’s say that man has some effect, but everything else on Earth does as well…millions of “ butterfly effects” ever changing. There is absolutely no control to compare to and no real science as the climate is ever changing naturally….. But a few things:
Hurricanes do not show any trend in becoming worse.
Nothing has yet compared to the 1974 Super Outbreak.
Folks still talk about winters 1977/78
1980’s Midwest droughts
Dust bowl anyone?
The Delaware River froze.. little ice age of Revolutionary times
2000 years ago was much hotter
10,000 ya much colder
Year of 1816…536… GH gas/ soot/ ash on a magnitude far greater that what humans can do caused global catastrophe but the climate settled within a few years.
Earthquakes momentarily shifting Earth axis.
China manipulating “ natural” water flow that Earth’s rotation effected….. don’t know if true but something to ponder/ research………
With all above said true, laws that counter fossil fuel consumption seem ambiguous in the larger picture.

You guys should (for once) listen to Grouseguy. He’s spot on.

The evidence is absolutely overwhelming and indisputable at this point - that climate change is occurring, has been occurring for decades, and is accelerating. You have no basis for argument otherwise. It doesn’t fit your agenda, but frankly, you can’t stop it. It must be awful for you who “claim” to be non-believers to hear about it constantly from the media, and from those of us who understand what is happening to our climate and want to take action to minimize the catastrophe we are facing. ON THIS PARTICULAR ISSUE, thank goodness for the Democratic Party and the United Nations and other organizations who are attempting to make a difference!!

Weather cycles sure but to think humans are doing it is retard level so of course two of the resident retards are shoveling the BS. I’m old enough to remember when Owl Gore said the coastlines would be underwater by now lmao. Obummer and his husband are so scared they bought a beachfront house lolololololol. Useful F. Idiots.

We could pick apart all of that, but to keep it short, I will just say climate change is about trends over time, not weather events like volcanoes or earthquakes.

BTW, Hurricanes ARE getting stronger.

Nearly 100% of the world’s scientists agree on climate change, so it amazes me that people still try to dispute it. Are people ignorant enough to think they know more than an expert scientist? Let’s give the benefit of the doubt and say they just don’t know what they don’t know.

So climate is trends? over time, not weather events, but we are proving that man and fossil fuels are the prime mover of climate change by a somehow newer severity in weather events? Sounds confusing and ambiguous, contradictory, contrary to itself, really. Volcanic activity, plate tectonics, hydrology, earthquakes, Solar flares, earth’s magnetic field and rotation are not “weather events,” but they do contribute to weather events, and climate depending on total weather effect. The last ice age was as simple, so they say, as the Gulf Stream dipping due to the abundant hydrology of fresh water in the North Atlantic… boom…and a n the early days of God’s creation, so much oxygen that dragonflies as large as hawks, as insects rely on simple diffusion, but now the atmospheric climate has changed…. Life actually naturally sequesters carbon due to stratification, actually snuffing itself out by taking carbon out of the atmosphere, but tectonics ensures that it will be one day returned to the atmosphere for life to use again. Very complex, and all scientists should know this, but politicians use and reward many scientists who only take a snapshot of something so complex that only God can know in order to try to manipulate the population in turn for power.

Climate CHANGE is represented by trends, yes. Nothing terribly confusing or contradictory there. You realize ice ages take thousands of years to come and go, right? And a volcano that spews ash into the sky that causes a “mini” ice age is still just a single “weather” event, not a trend, right?

Climate change that is causing accelerating weird weather TRENDS worldwide today is caused by humans using fossil fuels in just a couple hundred years, or less. We have never experienced anything like this before. It has the potential to cause (another) mass extinction of species, as well as a great “reset” in human populations. The United Nations, science, etc, etc are not making this up.

The Mini Ice Age aka the Little Ice Age lasted for roughly 600 years, and is well documented, nothing close to a single weather event. It most definitely was a trend in cooling in the Northern Hemisphere, therefore your definition of climate change, but well before man’s onslaught of fossil fuel use. 1816 is also documented, happening during TLIA, supposedly by a volcanic eruption that produced frost in Virginia in July, and famine across Europe…. No potatoes in Ireland. Yes a single “EVENT” but changed weather patterns for a few years, but with much more concentrated green house gasses than we could ever do now, the climate settled out, healed itself, per se, but we are to believe that our use of fossil fuels will eventually change the climate more than other known historic events, or natural climate change from factors that we cannot control. The backbone of life is, as we all know is carbon, but in the useful oxidized form of co2 ( as pure carbon does nothing) along with water and o2. Co2 is converted to hydrocarbons by LIFE. We know that things are vastly more complex, but ask a brainwashed kid about these things: Water…ooom..good….02…ooom..trees… good… co2… bad… evil…..climate change…., yet all we are doing is recycling trapped and stored hydrocarbons for life to utilize again, but somehow with all of Earth’s history, natural climate change, and climate/ weather changing events, we need to go total EV in order to save humanity from evil co2.

We are not dipshit muppets like yourself. We piss on your false religion. We find you and your ilk dangerously stupid. We have no need for a supplemental savior because we already have the True Lord. You muppets are truly sad.
