Wow. Pics of a computer screen are deceiving but I think thats a 170+He made it through the season almost
I'm curious. Did you ever get a daytime picture or see him in shooting light? He made it through the season almost
I'm going to have to put a camera on every other tree to get a pattern. I just get random 9:00 pm or 3:00 am pictures.Last year opening day of bow season I had him at 56 yds plenty of light left didn’t feel comfortable shooting and had a couple of pics this year just about daybreak but no daytime pics
Not to hijack this thread, but many years ago this is EXACTLY why I quit running cameras. I had several buddies who hunted giants they had on camera and passed really nice bucks to hunt the "ghost". These ghosts all had one thing in common...........never a daytime picture !! I decided I'd go back to hunting for a buck that got me excited with bow in hand, versus one on camera that may never show himself during legal shooting hours !I'm curious. Did you ever get a daytime picture or see him in shooting light?
I have a couple that I would not know existed except for night pictures...and I mean nothing even close to shooting light.
It can be frustrating but I enjoy it. I don't NEED to shoot a buck for meat. Plenty of does around. Not to hijack this thread, but many years ago this is EXACTLY why I quit running cameras. You and me both…I don't think I would be telling people about this deer.
