I am close to getting my Res. hunting Lic. n tags. Found some public land in Livingston county to hunt on. Walk in only & have to pack/drag or bone deer out to get back the wagon. Don't think i will be hunting too deep into the woods. Going to be a tough recovery on me if i kill one past 200 yds from parking area

I got my hunting Lic. senior sportsman. Went to Newmans bluff n packed my climber in up a finger ridge til i came to a rock bluff n grove of white oaks dropping acorns. Locked it to a decent tree, looks like friday morning maybe cool enough to hunt for several hours. I am going to take my MXB320

Went with the boy on the youth hunt. Other than that just went to get some chicken of the woods we saw but they were getting pretty rough looking. Seen eight deer so far and a turkey.

I got out this morning, found my climber. Took me an extra 10 min. because 1st time going in up the ridge to find it. Saw 2 tree rats n that was it cept skeeters started at a rough 9:40 am

I have seen 3 Bucks none of which i would shoot. A Doe that was too far to shoot n one i could see moving but not tell if a Doe or Buck, too far to shoot also

I saw a few killed on the highways today. They must have been moving last night.

I also have seen some road kills. I have saw 7 deer so far, none of the 5 Bucks would i shoot just to kill for dink antlers. The one Doe never came close for a shot. Have not seen the 1st fawn
