The one thing that I've learned about aging is that it is not an incremental process. For most people, getting old is an abrupt, life-changing event. One day you are fine going out to look at your cattle and the next day you don't recognize your life-long friend. One day you are doing chores for an elderly neighbor and the next you have a ruptured disc and can't take a breath without blinding pain. One morning you feel fine and that afternoon you see your doctor who says you need an MRI....All are actual examples from folks in my life.

Be thankful for every day that you are able to do the things you love....

The last time meet and greet discussion came up it became a big field party with lots of booze and women and it got put on hold.
I think it scared the guy who is on the religious side and was wanting the get together to be more family related.
I know the guys name but can't think of it at the moment he is from Waco Ky.

I was 28 when i had kids. Felt like i Aged 10 years in just 1 after that.
But... going to be 36 this year and people still have no idea. They think im 20 something.. my mom and dad both stayed looking younger than they were.. but i feel my age.
Stiffer and cant exercise like i used to. But its helped me slow down, i needed that. I was on the bit.

I'm still plenty strong, just no endurance in upper body. I benched over 200 5 years ago. That's more than I weigh. But when I do a lot, I know it the next day. The worst is a lot raking. Damn, my arms and shoulders scream the next day after an hour of that crap.
Need a side job? I’ll whip you into shape quick🤣
