The pond at the Barn is done, just need some rain! I spread and inch or two of gravel 610 over the sides and then put some local creek rock over that. My hope is the gravel and rock keep the turbidity down and the limestone lowers the PH. The color and clarity isn't too bad already so hopefully its even better when it fills up. I do need some stumps though, river trip to pick up logs and stumps is in order!

Thinking about pumping water out of the river to fill the pond. Anyone have big pump and a couple hundred yards of hose or lines I can rent??? Tired of waiting for rain. We got some last night but the ground is dry as a bone today!
