Just wanted your opinions. I don't own a crossbow and never have but. Lady at work had a son to over dose a couple months ago. He had one of these crossbows that he had bought and its never been shot. She brought it to work and its a beautiful crossbow. I looked on Amazon and they had one new for $489. Just wanted your opinions on what I should offer and if its even worth getting. Thanks.

Well I can’t speak on that one. My old man had a Barnett Buck Commander. It was heavy but built like a tank. Barnett was making crossbows before some of these other companies were thought about so I say if you get a good deal go for it. Offer her $300. See what she says. I just looked at that model. Nice looking bow for sure.

I have owned a couple. There good crossbows imo.

I just bought my wife one as a matter of fact. Good mid level cross bow.

Thanks boys. I've not shot it yet, waiting on muzzle to go out and for a new cocking rope to come in, my dads Fang cocking rope was too short.
