barney's Cheap Eatin' Thread

BG had a Quiznos years ago. I liked it better than subway.
I used to hit Quiznos pretty regularly. I don’t care for Subway so I go to Penn Station now if anywhere, but it’s kinda high. We have a local joint that’s been here decades that makes the best subs around but it’s dirty and the people in there look like The Hills Have Eyes so it’s hard to eat there much for me.

Penn Station high? Lol Just for me to eat there like a month ago was I think $21. Good food but that’s ridiculous.

I don't eat out so I am amazed at the prices you guys are mentioning. Wow....$21 at Penn Station for one person. I can have a full service meal at Cheddar's, Aspen Creek, etc cheaper than that.

But....as much a I enjoy cooking....I do get tired of having to cook all the time.

Venison meat loaf in air fryer last night at 8:00 pm. Just had more for lunch.

Meatloaf is my favorite meal beside Thanksgiving turkey and old ham.
I made a meatloaf over a month ago with hamburger, ground pork , crackers, bread , little milk , garlic powder ,an egg, Cumin and black pepper. It was the best one we made. I did not write it down, now I can;t make it the same. I need a good recipe.

Once you get them air fryers figured out they are the quickest and easiest way to cook nearly anything. Best kitchen gadget they have ever made in my opinion. Meatloaf looks great

Got a jump on At Patrick’s Day traditional corned beef dinner. Forgot to take pics as it was served but got some later. Baked the corned beef double wrapped in foil cooked up , added sauerkraut , did a skillet of sweet potatoes , onions, and apples. And good dose of balsamic vinegar.
