once appoint a time, i got up to 156lbs. i couldnt see all my digits, not counting fingers an toes.
lets just say the spare tire was oversized. this was a few decades ago, least 4, an i finally got to my size. 115lbs.
now i want to get lighter. i'm shooting for a weight of 120-125 lbs., just got 5 lbs to go. i weight in at 128lbs, today. 123lbs, up or down, a couple of lbs will be OK. this is just me, an its my problem. it took years too get to 128lbs. i got up just over 140lbs., an concentrated to lose some of the excess baggage. i didnt have to much concentration though.
120lbs is my ultimate goal. +/- 2 lbs. its natural for me.
lets talk about food, exercise, and losing weight. just a thought

If someone wants to lose weight, cut down on the eating. Portion control. Exercise, alone, won't do it.

Burn more calories than you take in. I drop several lbs on hunting trips being active all day, not sitting around shoving a bag of chips in my face like I do at home. Told the wife I need to hunt more to keep the weight off.
I guess I had a reverse New Year's resolution... I've gained nearly 15 lbs since the first of the year...... Eating anything, and everything in sight....

now in my older age,65, i just want to weight 120. 1980 i weighted 104, an was fine. could cut to 98 if i wanted, but didn't have to.

Best exercise - for me - is walking. Set aside time every day to walk. Don't push yourself until you get in the habit....You will lose weight and you will enjoy the walks.
