Well, It did get a little out of hand.
Did HOL's Ole man, 40 acre pond call you about the table?

And whom are you, the inquisition?

He called me, ten minutes before you made your post, but I was cat napping and never heard the pleasant ring tone. He sent a text ten minutes later, with request to call, but it was past his bedtime 🌙, before I noticed all.

My guess, it was regarding the table. He will go remove it, whether he has intentions of utilizing it himself, or not. Think of one whom purchases storage contents, sight unseen. Mr. 40 likes to gamble and high stakes.

So I’ve been playing 5 weeks. Vast improvement. Playing one or two times a week. Daddy and I played two guys in doubles tonight. One not quite as good as Daddy, the other been playing a year. We beat them 4 straight games. Then Daddy left, and a kid that’s been playing a year or more, and shoots 3-4 times a week joined me. I played him even 2 weeks ago. He and I won 5 straight, they didn’t shoot twice. We lost twice on 8 ball fouls. I’m improving quickly. I think my table will ship next week. Pretty obsessed with it.

I don’t really know much about playing pool. I played 9 ball a couple times when I was younger but I’d be willing to play some for $20 a game if you could teach me how.

Lol... can you teach me about beavers? If so, we might make an even trade. I have never seen a beaver but believe I just discovered their dam, for the first time, and it looks to have a slight leak. I'm honestly more interested in finding some beaver action than billiard action these days but am willing to trade.

I don’t anything about beavers either other than just common knowledge that most people have about them I’ve seen several but I’m no expert in that field.

Surely your not scared of a $20 a game challenge against someone who admits they know almost nothing about playing pool and is only trying to learn.

I intend upon learning about beavers, since the opportunity appears to have presented itself. Their strategic, stealth attacks upon select trees maintains my interest. They have gone to town around here, and it's pretty funny. I vow to put forth effort in managing some beaver photos, before all is said and done, but wouldn't mind playing some 9-ball between all.

You issued a challenge to Tank all I did was call your bluff. Nothing personal all in fun. However I’m not scared to play for $20 a game. Question is am I good enough to back it up or am I just blowing smoke?

Doesn't really matter (not to me, anyhow). You learn some things about the game from me, while I listen to your beaver tales. I was going to walk back over there at dusk but never made it. I'm going to contact the local feds again and obtain their opinion pertaining to how far I must space the geese nest and which would be the best kind in this situation with beavers. I like the beavers but will hurt one over a gosling.

Looked like yet another sign of beaver action to me. It's the only one that I have seen. Not my words but interesting all the same and supports my theory:
