Quick question, in order to operate a boat on KY waters do I need to complete a boating course?

I think kids do but not adults…

Just my opinion for what it’s worth, so not much. It wouldn’t hurt for everyone to take a very basic course, lean basic rules if the road and bouyage system.

Totally agree. Lowers your anxiety as a new boater and helps keep things safe on a busy lake. KDFW has an online course I believe. Maybe it’s on the boating app?
