How was it, Randy? Had you been down there before or was this the first time?

It was good, very similar to our shoot, prettier woods, great food, about same # vendors, and campers as us. In Silver Springs florida at an rv park tonight. Doing Ormond beach tomorrow with Kevin, probably see sights in Silver springs tomorrow, then TBOF campsite thursday -sunday. Where ever the wind blows us after that.

I think Silver Springs is where they have the glass bottom boats. I was there in 1974! LOL! Probably not quite as magical as I remember it but I recall that it was very impressive at the time.

If possible, get us some pics of the Florida range/set up. I would like to go to that someday.

We did the glass bottom boats wednesday, it is pretty cool, pics dont do it justice. Several years ago we attended this shoot and stayed in a motel in Silver Springs. A lady walked over and asked us about restaraunts. Her father was sitting in the truck. Turns out he was Rico Browning, the guy that did all the underwater scenes in the ‘Creature from the black Lagoon’ movies !
I regret i did not go speak to him. He was there to sign autographs at Silver Springs state park, where those scenes were filmed.
Come to find out this wednesday, that he died the day before our boat ride, age 93 !

Did they day the maximum depth that you were looking into? I'm thinking back 49 years ago but I thought it was something like 70 - 80 feet maybe?
