Do you? Considering these glaciers where 2 miles thick, I'm guessing it takes a while to form and melt. But I bet now it would melt faster than a snow pile in a Walmart parking lot since we are so much warmer and all....That extra 1 and a half degrees is the tipping point.
I feel bad for people like that cuz they actually believe life on earth is ending.

Just a little truth for the sheep if they wish to open at least one eye. The 97% of all scientist agree scam...Even when you point this out they still want to believe we are doomed.

Climate change deniers can argue this topic all day long, beat a dead horse, but fact is this is 2023 not 1983 and the facts today are indisputable that climate change is occurring, it is accelerating, and it is directly a result of man’s use of fossil fuels. Nearly 100% of the world’s scientists agree, which holds much much more validity than several guys from Kentucky whose view of the world is clouded by their political affiliations. If you refuse to see it now, probably you will someday. Until then, while the rest of the world takes action to address the issue, you can dig in your heels and see where that gets you. On behalf of our grandchildren, we thank you for your help.
You're right, it's not 1983. In 1983 there was no trash pickup in my area. People had to burn their trash or dump it somewhere. Hardly anyone had a septic system, it just ran straight into a lake, stream, or holler. In 83 people still used leaded gas in there much less fuel efficient vehicles. Back in 83 if you looked around here all you saw were hay fields, tobacco patches, and cattle with a little bit of woods dotted in. Now it's woods dotted with a few hay fields and cattle. You couldn't eat fish from any major river in 83. Every fish I took out of the Ohio back then smelled like diesel fuel. Not the case today. I could go on and on but I want to go shoot some squirrels.
The fact is things are MUCH better now then they used to be, not worse like the climate terrorists are trying to (and succeeding) to get everyone to believe.

And in 1983, man-influenced climate change was still considered a theory. Today it is accepted worldwide as fact. Except of course by people like many of you whose understanding of the world is severely clouded by your political affiliation.

Did you even read the last two links I posted? I bet a million dollars if Al Gore and John Kerry came out today and told the world this was all a mistake and they made it up, you and the alarmist would not believe it. It shows how deep you are dug in and committed to the fear.

First off my political affiliation has nothing to do with what I see with my own two eyes. I lean right but I'm no Republican if that's what you're assuming. What I'm saying is we (the US) have made HUGE improvements in cleaning up the environment and reducing emissions in the past 40 years. To the point to where we're bankrupting ourselves actually. What has China, Russia, pretty much all of Africa, Asia and South America done? Until the rest of the planet catches up I say we've done all we can do. All more laws and regulations are going to do is move us even further down in the global pecking order.
It's not accepted as fact by anywhere close to 100% of scientists either, only the ones that are bought and paid for and most of the poor bastards don't even know it. It's kind of like the whole racism deal. The last thing BLM and all these "anti-racism" groups want is for racism to actually end because they'll be out of business so they keep focusing on the negative and do all they can to make things look 100 times worse then they really are. There's big money in racism, just like there's big money in climate change.

Google “photos of glacier shrinkage” and look at what has happened to the glaciers in the last 100 years….
