Holy mass! That’s a very impressive and unique buck. Definitely some sad hunters out there with cam pics of that buck, especially if anyone had pics of him after season

She lives in Missouri and hunts behind her house. Never had a picture of it as long as they lived there. It’s definitely a mystery.

I am in a similar situation ( find the house ) and have given thought to the fact that the older deer know exactly where my stands are. It may pay off big to mix things up from time to time with a climber.

Curious, would you guys leave it as is or try to get them antlers cleaned up and stained brown again? They dont seem to have been touched by rodents.

I would clean it up and leave as is. It's a great find!

By looking at the skull it looks like it's been there for a year or two but the antlers haven't been gnawed on at all which is surprising. Very cool find. Wonder how wore down it's teeth were? It may have died of old age.
