I told him I’d fix him whst ever he wanted; I’m gonna guess he will go for a thick bone in, fatty, pork chop.
My wife has Alpha Gal. When she got really sick I had to take her to the ER . In 10 days time I had her in three ER's and the last time I took her to UK. All of them said she was allergic to her meds.
I thought about her allergic reaction and I thought it may be Alpha Gal. When I took her back to her DR I told them that I wanted her tested for AG. I argued with the DR for over 20 minutes until the DR finally said ok. ^ days latter test showed she had AG.
She sneaks a piece of bacon or a bite of steak and is ok. But we canned some deer and she can eat deer and it not bother her, or at least ahs not shown any bad AG effects.

Best thing I have seen for tick prevention is a company called Insect Shield in North Carolina. You can send them clothing to be treated, and whatever they use beats anything I have ever tried.

Just bought a new quart off Amazon for less than $20. 1 oz to 1 gallon, this quart will make 32 gallons.

Edit: it’s went up a couple $ in the last month. 6-8% inflation lol. Still a fraction of the premixed Sawyers who are laughing at people all the way to the bank. Kinda like they do the people who send their clothes into a company to be treated lmao. Commonsense is a misnomer obviously haha.

Only thing u can do is take prednisone. He was started on 20 mg daily and is down to 3 mg. Going down to 2 mg in a month.
What doctor does he go see? I hadn't heard of taking prednisone for it. I'm on several groups on FB. All they talk about is the SAAT treatment, an it just puts it in remission, if it even does that.
My numbers have come down since I was diagnosed in 2020, but not near what they need to be. I could eat a bite right now and would be dead in 2 hours. When I was first tested my levels was 76.40. You are suppose to have levels of .10 and below. I'm sure mine was that elevated because I ate beef 7 days a week. Last time I went my levels was 4. something.

There was a time I could pull ticks off with no affect but I’ve noticed the last several years once they attach to my skin and are removed a hard knot forms, gets red and itchy and stays around awhile. Not sure if it’s me getting older or the ticks carrying something.
I’ve noticed that same thing with me. I have elimitick clothing for hunting. Spray permethrin on work clothes. And spray deet on my skin where it meets my clothes.
