The deer need to be really big bodied for me and Jman to hit them in the right spot. That guy didn't make it 40 yards before he piled up.

Jman got a good one too. Let's see it!

Mine was BARELY an 8 point. Not an awesome antler score but my best ever with regard to body weight. 265 live weight/215 field dressed. 16 yard shot. He made it across a creek for a total of about 50 +/- yards. Shooting the 1970 Bear Kodiak Hunter.

I’m thinking we need a thread here in the tradbow section of these harvest with all the Pictures. Great deer here with anything, even greater accomplishment with traditional archery!

In the second week of gun season and I am itching too bad to be in the woods again. I haven’t been since it began. So yesterday evening I dug up some orange, a bow, and hit the woods. Surprised that I did see or hear another Hunter anywhere. And I was hunting public land. Didn’t see any deer but sure needed the tree time!

Slipped out a while on this cool foggy morning. Had one knot head entertain me a while. Be a good one in another five years!

It wouldn't be hard for us to find my arrow if I had that shot, Carp! You have a nice backstop there. My arrow would be sticking up in the air clearly visible!
