I know a fella that has 2,....one of them caught a bobcat out in an open field...the other was right behind it and basically they tore the cat apart into pieces.

I seen a post on TikTok the other day where a guy said his dog came in bleeding with cuts all over it. He stitches it up himself and went to investigate what could have caused it and found 8 coyotes dead. It was supposedly a pitbull though. I'll see if I can find it

Wish we knew more details. I have never heard of a “pack” of coyotes attacking anything, let alone 8. Due to hunting pressure they’re mostly spread out, solitary animals that hunt alone or in pairs. Especially in Georgia where you know they’re hunted. Weird story.

They may be having to pack up due to the hogs. Probably crowding them out hard on food.

That’s an awesome dog. Pretty sure my chocolate lab would have died trying to get into the house.

I lost a beagle to a pack of coyotes several years ago. I shot the one that was dragging her off and when I shot I saw another 5 or 6 take off. Not really sure how many was in the pack

Questionable: A lone dog doesn’t kill 1 coyote let alone 8 coyotes and come out without a scratch. It just doesn’t happen that way.

It was a "Family Unit" of Coyotes.
They will "Pack Up" years ago I regularly saw 4 to 6 together many times. Fella didn't allow hunting in large farm area and had Jackasses to protect his calves. (Bordered my Land.)
The encroached on my land and I learned how to Killem. You will never killem all but you sure can thin them out.

Since I live closer to you now I've also noticed "packs" out and about at night. Last night there were probably at least 5 working that field across the road beside Ginger's house. I heard that many distinctive yelps and crap as they were on the prowl. I figure they're coming from that 50 acre ro so thicket there behind the store on 461.
