It’s year round here. I runAre they chasing all year long or just during rifle season?
Some deer hunters turn loose dogs to chase deer and bring them out from their hiding spots. They turn them loose to hunt deer that are on other properties. The dogs chase them off your property and onto theirs.
If I have this problem, I will give them the 10-foot rule and that is about as far as they make it.
Had that problem when deer hunting first came around in my area. There was a fox hunter who hated deer and every year during deer season he would turn loose a bunch of hounds to chase deer's out of the hollows.
Thank you, your situation is similar to mine. I didn’t shoot a deer here last year to grow some older class bucks. I’ve worked all year to improve the habitat and made 10 acres of food plots. Now I get pics of strange dogs chasing deer across them. I have never identified where these dogs come from. My nearest neighbor is aDog owners should be smart about their dogs and when they're loose. Not during hunting season, especially rifle. Had the biggest deer we've had on our farm in several years chased off by neighbors dogs last year and have pics in sequence to prove it of the deer, followed by the dogs at 2 different camera locations. The latter being near property line. I visited the neighbor, showed them the pics and several other random pics of their dogs at different times and asked them to keep their dogs up until after season. Their response wasn't very polite so the next time I was in the blind and heard the dogs strike up and a group of does were being chased, the .243 wasn't polite to their dogs. Not how I wanted things to go but when you spend alot of time and money working ground, food plots, minerals, fruit trees, time spent hunting and passing deer trying to somewhat manage them as best you can and get blatantly disrespected by the owners then it kinda ties your hands and doesn't leave many options....

Mile away. It’s very frustrating
I sent this picture to my area CO and he told me that there is nothing that he is willing to do about it.
I know of a lady that contacted the county dog catcher back when the county had one about dogs running deer. The dog catcher came out to the ladies house and wrote her tickets for not having her dogs within the glass storm door registered.
Tell someone that you are a having a problem with their dogs running deer and they will tell you that's what dogs do. And when someone else takes out their dogs, they point their guns at you and your dogs.
SSS seems to be the only option.

Luckily for me, my neighbor shot his own dogs for ripping into little kids.

On another note, there is nothing worse than sitting in your stand perfect morning prime time for movement is here finally the deer start showing up only to have your irresponsible neighbors dog show up and ruin the deers morning and yours. It’s happened to me many times.
Oh, for God's sake, just stop!!!
