Great job sir, you are tearing them up.
I snared only a Housecat last night, but he was caught by the Hips. I finally got his Head covered up and cut the cable off him..
He was Pissed to be sure.

Thanks fellas. I had the rare day with nothing pressing on the plate and turned my four wheeler into a more useful trapping rig. Spent the whole afternoon setting more snares and quite a few footholds. We’ll see if I can get some on real traps. The coyotes are out of control behind my house. Gotta be 50 of them butt sniffers. Hardly ever see deer anymore.

I snared my dog once. Thankfully she’s a small dog and was hip caught. But she was tied up tight. I can’t imagine if I hadn’t found her in time.

I have caught several dogs. All but one sat down and waited calmly for someone to come turn them loose.
The ONE that fought was a big one that I Saw hit the snare. He choked out quick and I just did get him out in time. Snares are Not Selective.
