More I think about it.. yes.. bunches of them
Sounds like the property is similar to what I have hunted since 07 in Scott Co. Now we have deer but it’s primarily a travel zone, not resident deer zone, so it’s hit and miss. They cleared one hillside of cedars in Spring of 20. It’s helped some. I saw a few about every sit this year and decided meat was better than being picky and not getting anything and killed 3 young does. If it’s a travel zone then last year you surprised them but somehow you’ve become predictable and they are “skirting” the area while you hunt. Just my .02. I’m far from knowledgeable when compared to some but I hunt a darn crazy place that’s unpredictable and people are like, “You hunt where? Your must have deer all over you!” But they just don’t know what it’s like. At the same time I’ve seen a couple of monsters taken right in the area so I know the potential is there.

I have to agree with you.. I started hunting in 1996... and what you just said matches what I am seeing being just a travel area.... the direction of the few trails and what I have seen points to a travel area
I know I asked a stupid question but like I always say is the only stupid question is the 1 you don't ask lol....
Thanks

On top of a hill in Ky
My brother lived at Lawrenceburg and Frankfort for the better part of 30 years before moving back to south central kentucky this summer. His last property was out towards Mt Eden. I used to go visit him regularly, and hunted with him at times. I can’t ever remember not seeing deer. Typically seen anywhere from 5-15 deer per set no matter where we went. Even the drives to and from was dangerous because of deer. I’m very surprised to hear you say you haven’t been seeing deer in that area.

The Occupied South
Someone mentioned "Amish."
We got a Christmas card the same (photocopied letter) that they send to everyone. The man repaired a barn for me a few years ago so they keep in touch.
I believe the Man is 35 years old and they have 9 kids. It was mentioned in the letter they have killed 11 deer this year so far. Oldest boy is about 13...and I figure that figure is about Half of the total.
They live near Crab Orchard in Lincoln County.

Neighbors maybe installed a corn feeder or 2 you don't know about. Newly installed small pond of water.
