Western Ky is full of deer. Those that live there think it is like that in all of the state.
Aint it the truth..........I used to get excited to see a track in the early 80s.
Ive hunted in good spots too. Target rich environments make you weak and forget how to hunt but dang it’s fun.The title is kind of an oxymoron isn't it? For someone who kicked or killed deer to get them out of the way shouldn't need advice should they?
How do you have such patience? LolAfter 20 minutes of no seeum, that's when I start walking trying jump one up for a shot.
I hunt around the park as you know. And I still do good to see 10 deer in total every year. Let alone in one set. I saw 4 deer during rifle season and killed one of those. The best part about the park is that if I see one, he’s usually worth seeing….Not preaching, so just get that out of your mind........... When I first started deer hunting. seeing deer outside of the nucleus of Mammoth Cave park, or LBL, was unheard of. I can vividly remember getting excited when seeing a track while quail hunting. Seeing a rub or scrape was nearly orgasm material. Again, not preaching, but complaining about not seeing many deer, and saying seeing 15 was a normal hunt........... That's deer hunting, not deer watching. My best day this season I saw 15 deer in a sit. Good luck.
Exactly.. I moved here last yearWestern Ky is full of deer. Those that live there think it is like that in all of the state.
Don't know... he is kind of a butthead... be nice if I had a place to put a food plot but his land is bad grown up... there is 2 ponds on it thoughNeighbors maybe installed a corn feeder or 2 you don't know about. Newly installed small pond of water.
Anyplace you could cut Cedars burn them and make some food plots? Or any places you could bush hogg round up it for food plots? Bring Deer to your place.Don't know... he is kind of a butthead... be nice if I had a place to put a food plot but his land is bad grown up... there is 2 ponds on it tho
