Interesting article on Car and Driver Magazine test comparing the efficiency of EV's against gasoline cars....the EPA has been lying to us. People are finally waking up and speaking the truth on the New Green Deal nonsense.

Remember: slaves won’t own transportation. You only can go 15 minutes outside your assigned coffin apartment anyway (unless approved on your papers). So you won’t need a car…but you will be happy—or else.

Tesla's carbon footprint revives old question: Just how green is the EV industry?

Most small vehicals ans suvs cost somewhere upwards to 5,000 for a engine replacement trucks 12,000 or more is common, battery's in cars are 150.00 to 300.00.
Ev battery's can be 20,000 and I would guess engines about the same, EVs are not realistic to working Americans!
If you have no gas the car doesnt go. You have to factor what you spend in gas during the cars lifetime if you are worried about EV batteries. So $60,000 for a truck. Then another $25,000 in gas. Thats not taking in maintenance which both vehicles require so it is null.

The only way we have no gas is idiots in Washington shut it down. JD Powers say the average person spends 150-200 a month on gas. A battery you buy all at once. That’s harder for the average person to take. Then we have the convenience of fueling up anywhere vs find a charger plus waiting. Then the slave labor involved in the battery production is something the snowflake never and I mean never want to talk about. It’s also funny how many tree huggers want us to drive an EV but don’t own one themselves.

The main difference.

Im not talking pros and cons of either. I'm just pointing out that the prices really arent that different. But like you said, it's not all at once.

Question for anybody that knows answer. Is a charging system required at your home and if so how much additional cost is that, because I'm not seeing big banks of charging systems in public. Doesn't sound like there demand to go electric is taken very seriously.

Most people who get EVs charge at home, generally at night. Car dealerships who sell EVs can help you get a charger - some dealers even offer to have it installed for you as part of the deal. Most people get “Level 2” chargers for home. Good article below if interested.

I think EV’s are a great idea for people who live and pretty much stay in large cities and densely populated areas with short travel distance along with stop and go traffic. Outside of that, they limit you greatly and an ICE vehicle is much more practical.
