Pretty rare in my neck of the woods. Use to hear them barking in the summer. Use to have an female raised a gang of younguns close to our cabin. She got so use to us she would come right up to the campfire for scraps. When I would walk to my deer stand she could follow me like a dog; she would stay rt behind me.

I use to call a lot of reds & greys while calling coyotes.....That was 10 years ago or so. I for sure don’t see them like I use too.
However this is behind our house here in boyd county. There’s 7 altogether. They are pretty use to us and will let us get pretty close. Glad to have them around

I haven't seen a grey in a decade or longer, they used to be plentiful. I have seen a red for the last few years.

Few of each around here. More greys tho. Parents has one visit their table scraps pile in the woods every few days. Not tame by no means tho

This post is from about 1982 but I did see some grays this year. I let them walk past me and the caller. Glad I caught it before I shot.

Used to seeing reds, having my daughter a vest made out of some red foxes I brain tanned this year for her birthday.

Got a red hanging around my yrd now, haven't seen one in over 20 yr around here.
I've had a Red Fox sticking around my place since last Winter. However I haven't seen him lately. Another noticing thing, on my property, is I haven't seen one Cottontail as I normally do in the Spring. There is or has been in the past several Rabbits running around my home's yard every Spring. <Strange>!!

Well if you have a fox and no rabbits then this may be why.

Yea it's here for my rabbits, it chased one out of the brush a couple nights ago into my driveway the fox ran out and the rabbit went back in! We have several rabbits I'm sure they are going to be in trouble.

The way I look at it is in hard times, the rabbits I can eat. The fox I will not. If it’s near my house and critters it needs to go.
