mudhole crossing
12 pointer
Good lord
Could be. May not be but it does happen. We had one jump from an 11 pointer that went 147 to a 16 pointer that went 201 the next year.I could be wrong but I don’t believe that was one year to the next on the trail cam pics.
There was a 200” deer killed a few years ago in Taylor county that was a 2.5 yr old 110” 8 the year before. It’s possible.I could be wrong but I don’t believe that was one year to the next on the trail cam pics.
They claimed in their post that it was a one year jump. But I agree you just don’t see a jump like that very often. Almost like his natural mineral intake and diet improved dramatically, along with the natural genetic potential he had. The latter being extremely rare.I could be wrong but I don’t believe that was one year to the next on the trail cam pics.
Lucky buck would give him good money to be part of that story, with those pics.Look at that deer's basic frame, not really all that big to be carrying so much nontypical growth. The previous year he was only as wide as his ears, definitely a monster and a unique one at that.
Killing a deer like that would just free me up to kill all the doe I wanted.I feel happy and sad for the kid. Happy he got that monster of a lifetime. Sad that every deer the kid lays eyes on now will probably be a let down for him. Hopefully it won’t ruin hunting for him. Congrats to the hunter.
He'll have other racks on his mind soon.I feel sorry for that kid.....It will most likely be downhill from now on........I doubt he'll ever top that one.
