We went last year, I tried the ocean fishing from the beach, didn’t work out to well, booked a morning fish trip but the skipper canceled out on me that morning early, like to know what to do down there as well, I hate the beach after 1 day of swimming and laying around I want to feel productive and do something, might try to find some work to do in the mornings there idk, it is a nice place will say that,

Live shrimp on small (and I mean like a #1 or #2 not 1/0 or 2/0) octopus hook. Not a circle but trending that shape. Carolina rig or pinch a big split shot above the hook about 12-18 inches. Everything eats a shrimp.

Fish the jetty, fish the marina walls, fish bridge piers. Mangrove snapper, small reds, flounder, sheepshead, trout. Assume every fish has teeth, sharp ones.
