Hello from West Liberty

Hello Everyone,

I recently joined the forum and looking forward to participating in the board discussions.

I'm from the Cincinnati area, but 3 of 4 grandparents were born and raised in Kentucky (that has to count for something).

I've been searching for property for a while and I was fortunate to find/purchase a recreational/hunting property in Morgan County last year.
The property was pretty much left fallow for the last 5-6 years so definitely lots of work to get it back in shape.
Hoping to learn some tips from the "pros" on this site.

I've only had the property for a few months. So far, I've had pond, beaver, black bear and autumn olive problems, but love the property more each time I get down there.

The name "Copperhead" comes from the property. When my neighbor bush hogged the old fields on the property (35 acres or so), he said he had never seen so
many copperheads in his life. He grew up a mile up the road and does most of the bush hogging in the area so he's seen a lot.

Again, thanks for allowing me to join.
