I got a pair of these last spring and love them.
I’m fixin to start using them again real soon.

Zero issues with leaks.

If you are not wading in beaver cuts , but boat , blind, field hunting the Academy Sport 400 Tredlites breathable at $ @150 (less on sale annually typically) are a good buy IMO. Extremely comfortable.in terms or flex, like a pair of khakis. I have worn them last 6-7 years exclusively. You can buy a pair every year and come out way ahead in terms of cost per year- over time. I have worn three pairs in last 7 years. And the leaks that occurred were minor but at that price I didn't even bother trying to fix or patch them or worry about a warranty. The larger sizes 12-13 are super roomy. Be sure you get the right body size for you when you order boot sizes as there are different sizes of upper within the boot sizes. Layering for cold weather is easy and have hunted right through single digit weather in them. But might not suit you if you are standing in chest deep timber water daily....

I walk miles in mine. Straight through the brush, muck, and mire. I’ve had a pair of Amazon Hi Sea (or something) for 2 years now. They were maybe $120, alright set but pin holes are becoming a problem in deeper water treks.

I like those Sitka waders because if that LaCrosse boot is anything like my other LC boot pair, I’d rather have comfortable feet while marching.

My layering game is strong. I’ve been hooked on merino for 5 years now so a breathable wader is what I’m looking for, even in late season.

Sitka or Chene's.
I like Sitka's boot but Chene makes a great wader too. Their return process is faster than Sitka right now. Will that change in the long run? Idk. I just got thru my 4th year with Sitka's. I bought them used and the guy that had them before abused the hell out of them. I had to send mine back in January because the left boot started leaking. I still haven't gotten them back. A guy I know has Chene's and had a leaking knee. He sent them to Memphis and had them back in less than 10 days. Can't beat that.

Who covers shipping?

So far, Sitkas are the best waders I have ever owned. I have had them 3 seasons and my buddy has had his 4 seasons. We both had an issue with the boot leaking (at different times) that was a flaw with the boot itself. Sitka sent us shipping labels and his went to somewhere in Virginia and mine wen to a wet suit shop in California. It did take a couple weeks to get them back but we also got a complimentary hat with them. We just used aquaseal to finish the season and sent them off after season.

It’s time for a new pair of waders for me as well, think I’m going to try the Sitkas. The Banded pair I have now have started getting a pinhole here or there and don’t always leak but my dads waders leak like sieve even though 95% of the time he only wears them to block the wind and help keep warm, if he does have to step in the water he gets wet, so I’ll give him mine because if they do leak it’s just a very little bit at the knee and I’ll try the Sitkas.
