Know a feller that lives in northern Indiana. He told me that in the winter, they run coyotes down on snowmobiles. Either run them over, club them, or shoot them. Sounded like a helluva time to me.

The only thing I’ve ever heard of doing to coyotes that I thought was inhumane was I know people who hung treble hooks in trees with meat on them to catch coyotes.

@Mt Pokt that Helicopter hunting would be on my Bucket List if I could afford a Bucket.
Several years ago in Colorado I killed one while hanging out the Passenger Window with my AR 15. THAT was FUN. And I'm sure was Illegal.

I’m not gonna condemn it, I’ll just say it’s not my style. I’d rather hunt and trap them, but end result is still less coyotes and that’s never a bad thing. But it really isn’t any different than what a pack of coyotes does to their prey, so it’s just turning the tables on them.

There are some guys hunting coyotes with dogs at LBL and doing a number on them. As for me, I would rather call coyotes.

I've heard of this a couple years ago. I'm not sure if Kentucky has any kind of law for or against it. I also don't know if I could do that or not. I wonder what others opinions are on the matter?

I don’t like coyotes either but I still wouldn’t do that. Sounds pretty cruel to me.

The use of treble hooks for coyotes is illegal in KY. I'm not 100% sure but I think it is illegal in all other states as well.
