I am having trouble getting Strum Ruger to help with faulty handgun.

I bought a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter chambered in 44 mag and few years ago and while attempting to sight in a scope on it the ejector rod came flying off and nearly hit me in the forehead. I contacted Ruger twice and as unlikely it is I managed to reach the same customer service rep. both times. I was using factory loaded Hornady Leverevolution ammo when this happened and the customer service rep insisted that I was using hot reloads , which I was not. From all that I have heard over the years Ruger has always had fantastic customer service but unfortunately I cannot agree with that from this one and only experience that I had with them. Do any of you have any idea of how I can get my handgun to Ruger and it be repaired ?
Thank you

I found the ejector rod and housing but not the spring. The screw that holds the housing at the muzzle end had snapped.

Order parts from Brownells then go visit @bluegrassDan
I will do that. I am just very surprised by the response that I got from Ruger after all of the great things that I have heard about them, it has made me leary of ever buying another Ruger firearm. Thank you for the help , I truly appreciate it.

Ruger has been purchased and the customer service has left the building. Tried to get some parts from them and they flat out refused- the parts they had on hand will only be used if they get a warranty repair sent to them. Trouble is, they don't want to accept any warranty repairs now.

So, purchase the new parts or bring it to me and I will order what you need and see if I can get you back on the range as quickly as possible.

I know Ruger bought Marlin out of the Remington bankruptcy but who bought Ruger?

You know, I have that backwards. You are correct, it was Marlin parts I was after, a new barrel. And Ruger said No, they will not supply the parts to outside vendors.
