Introducing the latest Hummer Garden Club Member, Trevor the Tank.
He just finished crawling up there a bit higher, and only because I slightly relocated him. Trevor was on his back, top step, when I first walked over him. He wasn't buzzing, thus all the dogs missed them, too busy rushing for their urine festival. I quickly noticed this exoskeleton near him
Beneath the staircase handrail, where they typically do their thing. I don't think that was his, and that he has yet to do so. He is low energy right now and probably just fell, for it all.
I did hear one out in the backyard about ten minutes ago, first one heard all year, meaning it's that time again.
Trevor relocated himself, once the sun cleared the treeline. Should have placed him elsewhere.
Amigos have already come and gone, but not before I put young Carlos onto just some of the evil poison ivy within the blackberry jungle,
with promise to return this weekend for more detailed work upon it. He claims amigos are not allergic to it. I don't believe him, making him wear gloves. Made him take all with them and the dead grackle, too. Poison ivy itchy rash all over my face now. I look gorgeous.
Adult cardinal attacking that little baby bunny, the smallest one of all which has grown a bit. Did it twice.
My dog started to go after it this morning and was only a few feet off but responded to command. Good thing it wasn't the beast. Today is the first that I have seen any in a while now (figured the dogs had already managed to get them). Hate to clean-up the blackberry jungle for it all but need better air circulation now.
Still have older bunnies, one seemed quite big. Too busy distracting Brewster (he saw them, they saw us and froze) beside me, in order to manage decent shot of them (other had already ran back into the blackberry jungle). Very happy about this, three bunnies, at least.
Have eaten three blooms thus far, and this shall be the fourth. Prefer the spiderwort but great alone and especially combined. Might help with this poison ivy rash... it's getting better, which is unheard of without buttocks shots for me.
but taking an itchy break from my nemesis, the poison ivy. Ole Carlos with his own sapling in the air never showed over the weekend, due to the storm, and something simply had to be done for my blackberry jungle immediately afterwards, for better air circulation; thus, I now have additional reaction rash upon my hands, neck, one spot near my right knee and probably my face again... it has been the worst reaction that I have ever had upon my face but simply toughed all out this time, thus far...
