The list is too long on both sides of the aisle. If you wrote down on a piece of paper the things Trump supports, I would agree with 80% of them. But the man, Donald Trump, has done extreme harm to our country. But he's just one man. He would have no power if not for the voters. We live in a country that voted for him. Which is hard for me to believe. I would like to see someone with my values who engaged in respectful dialogue with each other to find solutions together. But he does not do that. So damaging. Thank you for asking. I hope we can have a respectful dialogue here. Each of our opinions matters even if I disagree with them. That is where he has hurt our country. Thanks again, slobear, for asking. How about you? What do we need from our government to make a better country?

You think the government has taken on too much of a role in our lives and needs to be reduced to simpler and minor roles in our society. In some ways that is appealing to me. Refuting the results of the election not allowing the peaceful transfer of power and holding Top Secret documents hostage is extreme harm to our democracy.

That's fair, but I guess I thought it was self-evident. He denigrates anyone publicly and calls them names, anyone who disagrees with him, and he praises those who like him. He encouraged and enabled the insurrection in the capital. I'm not being polemical here, I'm just naming facts anyone knows. These are my examples. I like his policies, but his treatment of people and democracy is deplorable. I realize many people like him and his tactics. I understand that.

Propaganda? Hmmm?? How about the handling of the Covid outbreak? How they vilified so many that didn’t want the jab or believe the mask policies. I truly never witnessed a more propaganda ridden time in our country. We were treated like farm animals or pets. They used their propaganda to turn neighbor against neighbor. They still are.

The border crisis… they try to convince us it’s not a problem.

The push to teach our children critical race theory and keep a race war going and that white people are evil.

The indoctrination of our society to believe there is no such thing as gender and that it’s a good idea to allow young children to pick what they want as an identity. As well as having transvestites dance and dress in a sexual manor around young children.

Another biggie is the green energy push. They have told us we are running out of time and we must follow their demands one way or another. So they are now forcing us to comply. Even though past predictions have come and gone without coming true they still keep us in fear to gain their control. And before you say it’s science… it’s not. It’s computer models that have been continually wrong.

Their attack on Trump has been a propaganda campaign from day one. The very first day!! They were talking of impeachment. The Jan 6 deal was pushed as an insurrection and I’m not saying there wasn’t some wrong doing on the protesters part. I’m saying the democrats used it to go after Trump. They didn’t have the security they should. They opened doors for protesters. Nance has a film crew ready to document her outrage and how they got Trump this time.

We see all the protests on the left they defend no matter what damage they do. They encourage their side to get in our faces and go after the right but act offended and outraged if something on the other side takes place.

They try to tell everyone Republicans don’t want people, especially minorities, the right to vote. All we want is fair elections with a photo ID. It’s ridiculous that people can’t show proof of citizenship. It’s been a propaganda campaign to make up lies so it makes it easier to cheat…. What makes good and evil? There is just a difference. There a difference in the ideology of the two parties. I’ve never said there’s not corruption on both sides. The difference is in the direction each party wants to take the country. More socialism vs less government intrusion. I’m not talking about the RINOs. But look at what both sides peddle.

The truth is hard to find but looking at motive can help. It’s like your kids telling you something to get their way. They may lie or manipulate you if they can.

When a party tells me I need to do what’s best for the collective I know it’s trouble. They want me to give up rights and freedom for “ the greater good”. When they use racism rather than facts. When what they preach goes against Gods word. I know what’s right.
